Good news are always welcome.

Today i received the information from apple, that my iPhone 4 from UK has been shipped to Borderlinx. This is about 6 days earlier than the original shipping date stated on their webpage.

Now it is on it´s way to Borderlinx in UK and after that into my hands here in germany.

As soon as i have new infos about it, i will update you.

In my last post i told you about my iPhone 4 order within the UK Apple online store.

Now i am very happy, that i ordered mine in the early evening of Thursday. Because only a few hours later, the iPhone shippment was set back to the “easy” words of 3 weeks. So now, you don´t get any concrete information about the delivery. I also checked the availability in the french and the us online store which showed the same information.

Now let´s hope that my order will really be processed at least by July 14th and track the shippment from the UK via Borderlinx to germany.

Today, the new iPhone 4 hit the stores in Germany. But it was not easy to get the hand on the brand new iPhone.

After visiting my local T-Mobile store i left again after not more than 3 minutes without an iPhone. So i decided to get a free iPhone without Net- or Simlock (in Germany, the iPhone is Netlocked to T-Mobile).

So i placed my order within the UK Apple Store getting a shipping date of July 14th. In order to ship the device to germany i am using Borderlinx for the first time because Apple is shipping the iPhone only within the country it was ordered.

Let´s see what date the iPhone will arrive and how Borderlinx will work. I will keep you updated on both stories.

After some long time, the iPad has finally arrived in germany. I had preorded mine directly on the first day and got it last friday. I am very impressed by this great product. I am looking forward which great devices will come from the other big players especially from google.

Last week, my long awaited Nexus one (ok, i allready have a Nexus One) arrived.

After opening the big box and looking inside, i found a retail Nexus One Box (the left one on the picture, compared to my own one).

Inside the box, everything themes to be the same like the retail version. All the small manuals are inside, along a power source, usb cable and headphones.

So after a long wait, german developers also got their phones.

Let´s see, what i will do with this one. My “old” Nexus One is allready rooted and some nice additional features are running.

At last, i can only say thank you to all people who downloaded my app, and a big thank you to Google for this nice gift for our work.

Like you could read some time ago, i was one of the Android Developers who where choosen to get a free Nexus One from google because of writing an app with more than 5000 downloads and a rating equal or better than 3.5 stars.

The first phones than arrived within the USA but until now, i didn´t receive my free phone. So i started to ask some other german developers, if they had gotten their phones allready, but they either didn´t receive their phones.

So i started to ask google, what was going on.

Like you could read, that the first developers phones from the android device seeding programm allready arrived in the USA, there is no news update within germany.

We are still waiting for our devices, like i got to know also from another german developer.

In the meantime, let´s update our apps and give the users more feautures.

As soon as there is any news update, you will read it.

Nachdem ich mein deutsches G1 etwas vorschnell (man ist ja leider zu neugierig) auf FW 1.5 gebracht habe wollte es erst nicht so recht mit dem rooten klappen.
Doch heute nach ca. 3 Stunden, hab ich ein G1 mit FW 1.5 gerooted. Aktuell läuft jetzt JF 1.5 ADP drauf und ich bin absolut glücklich. Jetzt kann ich endlich ein paar mehr Apps installieren ohne immer gleiche auf den internen Speicher schauen zu müssen. Denn die werden morgen auch noch auf SD ausgelagert. Somit bin ich nun endlich Herr über mein G1.

After selling my android dev phone, i will still keep updating my Android App “Infodroid”.
But this will not happen regularly.
And after switching back to my iPhone 3G, i will start with a little app for the iPhone, so stay tuned.
